Legendarium is a project featuring Heroes, Goddesses, Fantastical Creatures, Medieval Beasts, and Paths we choose. It weaves together familiar images into its narrative, whether they are clearly understood or only vaguely. It is reminiscent of knightly legends, fairy tales, creatures from ancient bestiaries, and forbidden lands where dragons reside, wondrous plants grow, and rivers flow backwards.

About Legendarium
Legendarium Tarot is a deck based on the classic English tarot system. However, some of the arcana cards offer interpretations beyond traditional meanings. The work has been influenced, directly or indirectly, by Aleister Crowley. Drawing inspiration from the Thoth tarot, Legendarium had a distinct level of sarcasm and straightforward responses, avoiding vague metaphors and equivocations.
* Please note that the thin white lines (scratches), uneven coloring, and dots on the cards and the box are all intentional. These elements are part of the aging effect and were designed to give the artwork its unique appearance.
We recommend interpreting the tarot spread by reading the arcana according to their apparent meanings. If the conclusions appear unclear or ambiguous, asking additional questions or rephrasing the task may be necessary. As is commonly known, the more precise and clear the question, the more accurate and clear the answer will be.
In the world of Legendarium, there are no pre-made, definitive solutions, indisputable truths, or final judgments. The resolution of the story is not immediately apparent. The answer to the seeker’s question must be sought by themselves, relying on the hints provided by various beings encountered on their journey. The seeker can also turn to their most trusted advisers, the heart and the mind, for guidance.
The Legendarium can answer your most burning questions, but only if you’re willing to embark on a journey to distant lands with it. Arm yourself with your knowledge, experience, and imagination. Your journey begins right here and right now.
While working on the Legendarium, we contemplated the nature of symbolism and endeavored to discover our expressive language. The visual style of the deck is a rough yet delightful tribute to the illustrations of the Marseille tarot, with a limited color palette. The “missing” colors in the deck are completed by our imagination. It pleases us to think that you can imagine the shimmering scales of mermaid bodies, the golden eyes of dragons, and the delicate green leaves on which morning dew glistens, all from a two-dimensional image with a limited color palette.
Major Arcana
Tarot is a flexible tool that adapts to changing times. It is unnecessary to exalt any method of working with a tarot deck as the ultimate standard, and rituals should not be treated as absolutes.
Otherwise, we would not have seen incredibly unique decks created by artists who have departed from traditional forms, broken away from familiar images, experimented, and reimagined symbolism. Even despite these incredible transformations, these projects are still with us.

*Author’s note: I believe that a card randomly drawn during shuffling of the deck can often tell you more than a detailed spread because it is the spirit of the Legendarium showing you this card.
Guidebook preview
To give you an overview of the guidebook's content, here are some examples of the text. Each description follows a consistent and highly detailed style. The guidebook contains 188 black-and-white pages, including introductory notes and two pages dedicated to each card.
Behind the Scenes (Video)
Black-and-white illustrations always come first. This initial stage is crucial; it is the moment when you decide whether to proceed or if additional days and weeks of work are required. The goal is not perfection—since perfection is an endless pursuit—but rather to uncover the true intent behind the creation.
In today's world, we often lose sight of our roots as our habits evolve and our work processes become increasingly dependent on advanced technologies. While there was no goal to fight windmills, this project was created the old-fashioned way—on paper—before the images were digitally colored. The unique charm of the hand-drawn lines remains evident, adding a distinctive touch and style to the work.
You can find some of the illustrations used in the Legendarium Tarot decks, along with those that were either excluded or modified in the final version. Enjoy!
